Down with the Ostrich's Strategy

This post isn't about the Ostriches, it's about how Pakistan is deluding itself from the external threats, without realizing the consequences. Allow me to explain:

When you are sick, there are generally two reasons, (a) something unwanted from the outside has entered into your body inasmuch quantity you can't handle, like germs, virus or something unhygienic and/or (b) the immune system in your body is weak enough to handle germs attack or whatever.

Now if you are to put the blame on any of the two then which one would it be? Both perhaps, and to cure completely you need to take medication to improve on both aspects. You would also want to keep yourself away from the germs or stay in a sanitized environment to improve speedy recovery; and after recovery work on to improve our immune system so as to reduce the risk of getting sick the next time.

Let’s use this analogy on nations. If it has lots of internal problems, and if it has enemies as well, and if its internal systems have also got corrupt, which are in turn opportunity for the enemies to interfere... now in this kind of a scenario, if authorities within the nation intends to improve the conditions then where they should start?

Is this rocket science? I don't think so; the work needs to be done on both aspects simultaneously, perhaps more importantly it is critical to ward off external threats and insurgencies so that environment is made conducive for internal improvements. It is necessary to get the sick (individual or country) out of the contaminated environment into a sanitized one before beginning the treatment, or at least to start both in parallel.

If yes, then what on earth is the problem with the so called liberal and secular intellectuals who keeps on emphasize to look within our boundaries only and simply forget what international powers most notably ill intentions and animosity of India against Pakistan?

Just to pass a very brief mention, Pakistan is an Ideological nation, it has a strategic location in the region, it’s a nuclear power, it is rich of untapped natural resources like coal, gold, copper etc., have an Army who is ranked toughest in the world etc. etc...  This gives lots of reasons to India, Israel (and its dog America) and allies to not to let Pakistan become stronger.

If Pakistan is allowed to grow into an economically powerful stable ideological nation with nukes, with China at its back then it can surely affect the geopolitical balance away from the interest of India and Israel notably. Some say that UAE also has some interests in the disturbance in Balochistan to not to let Gawadar port to become a rival of Dubai; Karachi pay have the same problem. This is not hypothetical; frequently news about interference comes, more from unofficial sources from official. The ideological war against Pakistan isn't a surprise either, but details will be shared in some other post...

It is indeed true that there are lots of internal problems which needs to be solved on urgent basis, however how can it be done when interference from outside making things worse?

The security forces has a key to play here, our hypocrite government which will hopefully be gone and replaced with someother better one after (or before) upcoming elections, should empower the forces to fight with all threats financed and controlled from across the borders. As otherwise our recovery from the inside might take forever.
